My father, Ed Rochette of Numismatic fame, left me a large amount of stamps. I have literally many hundreds of unused foreign stamps from the 1960's on, some accompanied by letters from the official postal services of the country concerning the enclosed stamps in letters addressed to him. As Editor of Numismatic News then the Numismatist, then Exec Dir and then ANA Board, he also collected stamps. I also have many hundreds of letters he received from all over the world, which of course have cancelled stamps on them. I have not estimated how many countries are represented, but I would guess more than 100. I am not sure how to sell them and do not just want to mail them to someone I do not know and hope I get a fair price. Any suggestions? REPLY TO POST |
